Molly was bitten by the wine bug while traveling abroad in Seville, Spain in 1998-99. The idea of wine as an integral part of daily life was a refreshing change of perspective. After landing in Boston in 2000, Molly worked in various restaurants including Tapeo, Meritage, and L’Espalier where she expanded her palate, mainly by tasting as often as possible!
Travel abroad beckoned again and Molly spent the next 8 years working as a sales consultant and manager for the American Council for International Studies, organizing trips abroad for educators. This took her to 17 countries around the world including various wine regions. Over time, her interest in the wine regions began to dominate, and she made the switch to the wine industry in 2012.
Molly now works as a sales representative in Boston for Winebow, and looks forward to spreading the knowledge of and enthusiasm for wine to a wider audience through the Boston Sommelier Society.
